About this work

When creating “UV Metamorphosis,” I imagined a character undergoing a profound inner transformation. It is a story about the moment when the existing order begins to fall apart, revealing hidden emotions, memories, and desires beneath the surface.

Each rotation of the painting reveals another side of the same character, like different stages of an inner metamorphosis. Some areas remain chaotic and dark, while others emerge with new energy and light.

The UV paints symbolize what cannot be seen at first glance. Under ultraviolet light, a second nature of the painting is revealed — its hidden life.
